Unprotected Angels is a black-owned clothing brand aimed at using clothing and apparel to voice our opinions and concerns about our culture and the daily injustices we face in society.
Unprotected Angels are those whose basic rights and freedoms have not been protected by society. They see us as less than, but we recognize our true light and continue to persevere.

hello everyone, I’m Ashara Hayes 1/2 of Unprotected Angels. I am from Fayetteville, NC and a FSU alumni. Culture and understanding who I am and what I came from has always been very important to me. Growing up I loved history, but what comes with our history I never could’ve imagined. The strength you hold because of your melanin is truly powerful and a blessing. Lovers of the world our family. We want it to be very clear this line isn’t just for our people of color. We push for this line to be inclusive of everyone. The world, our family.

At Unprotected Angels, we aim to spread love and positivity through every design we create, reminding people that even in a world that may not always have our back, we have something greater. With this platform, my main aim is to be in a position where we can give back.
Protect Unprotected Angels
Throughout history, our people have been victims of social injustices and many have left Earth early as a result of these injustices. . .For our brothers and sisters who have been affected by these social injustices like racism and police brutality, we raise our hand. Its our turn to press the issues and voice our concerns. Our clothing line will showcase our culture, struggles, strength, and perseverance through each piece. Though we may be unprotected by the world we always have protection from our angels in the sky.
